I spent my summer 2025 as a copywriting intern at 100 Roses From Concrete, in their G.RO.W.T.H. Initiative. I was an integral part of a team dedicated to bringing to life, the mission of a local nonprofit. As a copywriter, I proofed and ideated an effective and compelling script to be used in a thirty-second PSA alongside corresponding digital media. Our primary goal was to deliver a product that the clients felt would resonate with their target audience and my role was pivotal in the execution of all related copy.
We were assigned to create a 30-second PSA and accompanying media for Arts in Blue, a nonprofit that provides dance classes and community engagement services to underserved neighborhoods in eastern Brooklyn, New York.
Our strategy team was able to decipher a problem statement that we and the clients felt was most appropriate to the issues present and the audience necessary to engage.
This is the concept the creative team was able to determine most accurately spoke to our base and that the clients felt was in-line with their brand.
In tandem with strategy and art direction, we came up with the copy used here.*
*The final project was edited by the organization, not my team. The copy in the voiceover however, did remain the same.
